Sai Ram, Dear Sai Sisters and Brothers!

We are thankful to all of you who make time to read, contribute to and provide feedback to your newsletter. We are happy to publish the Fall 2001 issue of the Sai YA Newsletter. As it is the 76th Birthday issue, we have added some special touches that we hope you will enjoy. The theme is S.A.I. -- Service, Adoration and Illumination.

While SYAN continues to be available at our website (www.syan.org), we have also set up an email subscription service for our regular readers. We also continue to print several hundred copies and mail them by post to Sai Centers throughout the United States for more widespread distribution. We encourage our readers to help us in distribution by directing those who have Internet access to the website, and by sharing photocopies for those who do not. SYAN is distributed free of charge to all who wish to read it.

The theme for the next issue (Winter 2001-02) will be "From Tolerance to Unity: Living with Love." We look forward to receiving stories of your experiences in living with tolerance and love in situations at work, home, school, the Sai center or other settings. As usual, we invite contributions from Sai youth (16-35 years in age) in the format of your choice -- puzzles/ games; artwork; poetry; prose; comic strip style...however you express yourself well

Also, please remember, no issue of SYAN is complete without the regular stories from Youth. These need not be related to our theme.

  • our experiences with personal spiritual discipline and efforts;
  • stories about personal transformation;
  • updates, reports/ experiences of service activities and
  • feedback.

Feel free to share your thoughts, ideas & questions with us at our email address contact@syan.org. We would love to hear from you!

For all future communication, updates, information about deadlines, ideas and anything else to do with SYAN, please keep checking our website at http://www.syan.org.

So, please spread the message far and wide -- we rely heavily on word of mouth for communication.

Jai Sai Ram!
