I see my friend in distress
I reach out to help I care not whether a Hindu, Muslim or a Christian I see a stranger in a similar plight I am inclined to help but step out like a pedestrian Why the hesitation? What is the difference? Is it the easy familiarity or an uncomfortable tolerance? A friend was indeed a stranger one time until we reached out and got along just fine In every other soul there is a light that lights up with love and a smile Keep that burning keep that bright even if you want to rest a while When you increase the manifold of friends Love never ceases to exist, does not end From tolerance we move to love and unite to create a better world of no pain and no more fights. |
